Tim Tetzner This is good and relevant music saved from the vaults of time – and the vinyl version looks stunning: additionally to its gatefold pop-up cover it comes with amazing but hyper-cryptic etchings on Side 4 (a kind of hidden track I guess).. Favorite track: Bionic New Shit - cut 1.

this is a digital audio purchase. no actual vinyl is involved except for in our and your collective imagination.

tracks that are just 2 seconds of silence you get full versions when purchasing, for some reason Bandcamp have broken the ‘No Audio’ place marker tracks that used to work for this and suddenly you can’t publish a release with those?? hopefully a glitch rather than a policy change? sorry for any confusion this workaround causes.

about

In the hey day of Hot Air I would be sent numerous ‘demos’ every month .. nothing worth writing home about mostly .. though one from Japan called ‘Gamo’ was a potential and an Argentinian electro acoustic guy calling himself simply C.D. also should get a mention , in fact it kind of became a policy that releases would be sought out rather than come from random submissions.
That was until mr Hironori Murakami sent his ‘Violent Clash between Killer Bastards of Eardot’ ... here was someone who clearly had taken the SHW thing on board but then gone to a whole other dimension with it. Outsider, Brutal, Cartoonish his self described “para-para manga” style had it going on in a visceral way no one else had come close to. As if Yamantaka Eye had teamed up with Alain Savouret but moved into the basement of a Hardcore Nightclub to make their sounds!
This guy is a hero to me ... unfortunately as sales of the expensive 10” picture disk I produced indicate, it seems the world does not see it my way. No matter, Mr Murakami seemed genuinely astonished at the few hundred pounds I sent him saying he would get an MPC ( no idea of he did or indeed what he makes this stuff on ) and he continued to send me gift packages of the japanese equivalent of Dinky Toy vehicles in the form of tiny but beautiful Noodle Seller Vans or Street Drain Vacuum Cleaning Carts. one of these gift packages also contained two C46 cassettes ... there was no decipherable message but clearly the format and running time pointed to an ambitious double 12 inch vinyl release... Sadly the afore mentioned lack of public interest or perhaps my own lack of salesmanship meant such an expensive production was not possible.
Stumbling upon these cassettes again recently I gave them another thorough listen through whilst digitising via a newly acquired Sony TC-D5m.
Wow, I was a fan all over again! even better than I remember it.. surely someone has released this? a long and fruitless search of the internet revealed only that the “Bionic New Shit” side of noises had been put out on a DIY CDR by the wild and crazy Andy Bolus ( Evil Moisture ).
So here it is ,,, far too much for most , not enough for a few and certainly still deserving of a double LP release.. which I swear I will produce should the Metal Gods of Lucre anoint my bank balance sometime in the future. Sorry Hironori the publics blatant ignoring of the Stretchmarks LP has left us in negative equity but if you are out there get in touch.

Vomit Lunchs Japan

Little is known about this mysterious genius. From the postcards received it seems maybe he was, by trade, a carpenter, or possibly house builder traveling the outer isles of Japan. Through his fractured english the most I could glean is his desire for extremes of noise at such a hyper intense rate comes from months spent in non-urban isolation with only the sound of chickens and wind for company. ... more
